Della Street was Perry's legal assistant who solved problems creatively, thinking beyond the limits of the case (or "outside of the box"), relying on emotion and instinct. When the team got their heads together, Perry Mason always had a solid defense. Drake & Della Productions is kind of like the classic show--combining left and right brain qualities to produce entertaining, informative and educative media. (Really, that's a cheesy way of making the name fit. Drake and Della are family dog names, after the characters in the series.)
